Living in Oregon in 2021, the Real Story

Portland local provides update on the state of the city.

Hello, hello!! I wanted to give y’all a real world view of live here in Portland Oregon after the riots that we had in 2020. First thing is first Black Lives Matter, defund the police and ACAB! Now that that’s out of the way, the riff raff have clicked off my page, lets get into it.

Life in the PNW

Life in the PNW is for the most part back to normal, well as normal as it can be now that we are living after the COVID-19 outbreak. The riots are over, more importantly the outside entities that were harassing our citizens who were exercising their right to assembly. businesses are starting to reopen downtown and the real issue we have is our lack of services for the large houseless population. I personally believe that we should provide housing to every person as it is a basic human right and we as a society have the means to do so. Lets get rid of some excess spending in the budget for pizza parties that employees don’t even like and throw it into social programs to help everyone have a fair shot.

Portland, OR

We are back to the thriving cannabis, food and craft beverage capital that we know and love. Some places have shut down due to the pandemic that keeps on keepin’ on. Due to the circumstances some people who were treasured members of our community are no longer here. They are missed. We do have mask mandates that have been in place from the summer of 2020 at least. Proof of vaccination may be required to enter some establishments of all sorts. Be sure to double check with your accommodations, restraints, merchants and venues that you are checking out if you do plan to travel to our beautiful city for the most up to date information.

Are you thinking about taking a trip over to the PNW? Let me know in the comments below!
